DIPLOMA RELEASE

The Davenport Community School District is pleased to announce the release of a number of high school diplomas dating from 1968 to current which have been held for various reasons in past years. Diplomas sometimes are not picked up by the students and others may have had fees pending.

“We recognize the effort our students put forth to meet graduation requirements,” explains Bob Mata, Director of Equity and Assessment for the district. “Even though in some cases many years have passed, we feel there are individuals out there who would be very pleased to have the tangible evidence of graduation and their official diploma.”

Those wanting to know if their diploma is currently being stored should call Linda Zurborg in the Record Services Department at 336-5058. (Some fees may still require payment for the diploma to be released – this can be discussed with the Record Services Department for payment options.) The district cannot replace lost or destroyed diplomas.

You must show photo id to pick up your diploma. You may not pick up someone else’s diploma unless you have a copy of their photo ID and a note handwritten by the person stating they have your permission to pick it up. We cannot mail diplomas.
